    Our primary focus is on building a team of excellent counselors and investing in their growth. We provide advanced training in therapeutic approaches that we know to be effective and meaningful, support frequent consultation and collaboration among therapists, and prioritize work-life balance. This ensures that every counselor can bring their best self to the work, which means the best possible experience for you.

  • Lightwell is a great fit for adults who want to create meaningful change in their lives. Many of our clients come to us seeking support with relationships, life transitions, stress, anxiety, or simply a desire to grow and develop as a person. Our counselors are also experienced in guiding clients through deep inner work and trauma processing, providing a safe space for healing and long-term transformation.

  • We provide adult individual counseling and relationship counseling/coaching. Our work focuses on supporting clients in navigating life’s challenges, improving relationships, and pursuing personal growth. We also specialize in both deep inner work and trauma processing, helping clients address the past while building a more grounded and fulfilling future.

  • Yes. We currently accept Aetna, Optum/United Healthcare, Tricare, and Blue Cross Blue Shield.

  • We also offer private pay. Our out-of-network rate is currently $175.

  • We require a free consultation before taking on new clients. This ensures that our practice is the right fit for your needs and gives you the chance to learn more about how we work before moving forward.

  • The first 2–4 sessions are focused on getting to know each other and exploring your needs and desires for the future. Rather than setting rigid goals, we take a systemic approach—exploring different areas of your life and how they connect, so we can determine together what direction therapy should take.

  • Most clients attend either weekly or every other week. Long-term clients often choose 1–2 sessions a month to continue working on self-actualization and ongoing growth.

  • We offer sessions exclusively online. This provides maximum convenience for clients while also allowing us to pay our counselors the fairest wage possible.

  • We ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
